Reservation and standard cancellation policy
If a reservation is cancelled or modified 2 days or more before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If a reservation is cancelled or modified later than 2 days before date of arrival and before 9am, the total reservation will be charged. If there is a ‘no show’, the room fee will be charged. For example, if a guest’s check-in day is Saturday, cancellation or modification is free of charge any time up to 9am on Thursday. On Thursday 9am onwards, fees will apply. No meals are included in the room rate.
No changes to cancellation policy
Cancellation or changes to booking will not be permitted for any reason once our ‘reservation and standard cancellation’ policy takes effect.
Check-in and check-out times
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am on the day of the departure. Early arrivals may be possible if available.
Payments for all rooms must be made in full on the day of arrival (if not already done). Overdue and recovery charges may be made if your account is not paid according to the terms of the booking arrangement.
Credit Card Payments / Guarantees
Commencing 1st March 2016, all online reservations made through the Sylvia Park Motel website will have their full payment processed at the time of the booking. Visa / MasterCard / Visa Debit cards are accepted for online bookings.
Sylvia Park Motel may hold a cash / Eftpos payment reservation until 5pm on the day of arrival. Should you be arriving at a later time, you must confirm the arrival time. Rooms will be released after 5pm.
Extra Person charges
Please book for the exact number of guests staying. We need to know for fire and safety reasons. Also, this allows us to have the correct bedding ready for you on your arrival. We reserve the right to charge an extra $50 per head, per night for any extra guests staying who have not been declared.
All prices quoted on our website, booking site and any correspondence will include GST at 15%.
Visitors are permitted at Sylvia Park Motel, at the guest’s own discretion. The registered guest is responsible for the behaviour of all visitors on the property. We ask that all visitors vacate the motel by 8:30pm or if requested, to do so at any time.
Any damage, including breakages, to the room or property may be charged. This includes the cost for any resulting loss of income due to the damage.
Smoking is permitted to guests in uncovered outdoor areas only. If you do smoke in our rooms, a $150.00 cleaning fee will be charged, plus any loss of income if applicable.
